Your original page text stays as it is. New signatures, notes, and highlights are visible marks in the saved copy, not editable form fields. A signature you add here can be removed later with Remove Signature while it remains separate. If a new mark covers a form field, that field can no longer be interactive in the copy. This tool does not create or verify certificate-based digital signatures.

How to use Sign PDF
- Choose an unlocked PDF from your device (up to 50 MB and 100 pages).
- Choose Draw signature, Pen, or Highlighter. Set the color and thickness, zoom if needed, and draw with your mouse, finger, or stylus.
- To fill a form or type a signature, choose the matching text tool, enter your text, and click its position on the page. You can also place it with the keyboard position controls.
- Check each edited page, choose Save signed PDF, then download and review your new copy.

How can I sign a PDF for free without printing or Acrobat?
Open the PDF, choose Draw signature, and sign on the preview. You can also choose Typed signature and place your name. Save and download the copy; no printer, Acrobat, or account is needed.
Can I use a mouse, touch screen or stylus to sign a PDF?
Yes. Use a mouse, finger, or stylus. Choose the line color and thickness first, then zoom in when you need to sign on a narrow line.
How do I add comments and highlight text in a PDF?
Choose Pen for handwritten notes or Highlighter for colored marks. Draw on the page preview and use Undo last mark to correct a stroke. Highlights are freehand marks, not threaded comments.
Can I fill a PDF form in my browser?
Choose Fill form / add text, enter your answer, then click where it belongs or use the position controls. This adds visible text to the page. If it covers a fillable field, that field can no longer be filled in the saved copy; other fields remain available.
Is a drawn signature the same as a certificate digital signature?
No. A drawn or typed signature is a visible mark. It does not verify identity or provide a signing record. Ask your recipient which signing method they require; editing a certificate-signed PDF makes its existing signature invalid.
Can I remove my signature after saving?
A signature added with Draw signature or Typed signature can be removed with Remove Signature while it remains separate from the page. If another app or a scan merges it into the page, it cannot be removed here.
Is my PDF uploaded when I sign it?
No. Your PDF stays in this browser tab and the original file is not overwritten. Keep the tab open until you download the result, then check every changed page before sending it.
