Less paperwork.
More peace of mind.
AdaPDF is a collection of free tools for the documents that pass through everyday life.
How it works
Choose a tool, select your files, and let your browser do the work. Modern JavaScript and browser capabilities make it possible to read, transform, and download many document formats locally. A website can deliver the software without receiving your files.
Useful tools, honest expectations
A PDF describes how a page looks. It doesn’t always include the structure of the original Word document, spreadsheet, or slides. AdaPDF makes that distinction clear: Word output contains editable extracted text, Excel output contains approximate text rows and columns, and PowerPoint output contains page images. None of these tools provides OCR or promises perfect reconstruction.
Made to stay lightweight
No accounts. No subscriptions. No document uploads. Files are limited to 50 MB per task, 30 files, and 100 PDF pages to keep local processing manageable. Mobile devices may need smaller files.
The software behind your files
AdaPDF uses open-source document libraries including PDF.js, pdf-lib, docx, ExcelJS, PptxGenJS, and JSZip. Conversion code and resources are served from this website, with no remote conversion service.
