Check which watermarks you can remove
If a document you are allowed to edit still has a separate watermark, you may be able to remove it without changing the surrounding text. Check the listed watermarks, inspect their pages, and choose only the ones you want to remove.
A watermark can be separate from the page, merged into the page, or part of a scan. This tool works only with supported separate watermarks. It does not guess at repeated text or cover a mark with a white box.
The preview helps you check every detected item before saving a new copy. Other page content stays in place. If nothing can be removed, use the clean original or the application that created the watermark; a watermark printed into the page cannot be reliably removed here.

Can I remove a watermark from a PDF in my browser?
Yes, when the watermark is separate from the page. Checking and removal happen in your browser without uploading the PDF. Watermarks merged into the page or a scan are unsupported.
Why does the tool find no removable watermark?
The visible mark may be merged with page text, an ordinary image, or part of a scan. Some applications also use proprietary watermark formats. This tool cannot reliably separate those marks from the document, so it leaves them untouched. Ask for a clean original or edit the source file.
Can I remove a watermark added with AdaPDF?
Yes, while the watermark remains separate from the page. Open the exported PDF here, select it, and save a copy without it. If another app or a scan merges it into the page, it can no longer be removed here.
Will watermark removal damage the text underneath?
The tool removes only the watermarks you select and keeps the original page content in place. It does not cover a mark with a white rectangle. Review the output before sharing it.
Can I remove watermarks from just some PDF pages?
Yes. Each detected watermark is listed by page. Select only the pages you want to change; similar-looking text is not removed automatically.
