Save Markdown as a PDF with selectable text

Print / Save as PDF opens your browser’s print dialog. Choose its PDF destination, review the pages and save. This uses your browser’s text printing, so text remains selectable and searchable instead of becoming a screenshot. Fonts depend on your device; compare the final PDF, especially for uncommon characters.
Attach JPG or PNG pictures and refer to their exact filenames in Markdown. Remote images are not fetched. Missing pictures block printing until you attach them or remove their references. Raw HTML is displayed as text; scripts, custom HTML styling, mathematical typesetting and Mermaid diagrams are not supported.
Place <!-- pagebreak --> on its own line to start a new page. Table headers repeat on subsequent pages; long code lines wrap. Final pagination is visible in the print dialog, where paper settings or headers may override the suggested layout. Keep your Markdown source for future edits.

Frequently asked questions
Do I get a direct PDF download?
This tool uses your browser’s print dialog. Choose Save as PDF or the equivalent PDF destination to save the file. The tool cannot confirm whether you saved or cancelled that dialog.
Will the PDF text be selectable?
Yes. The browser prints text as text, including code blocks and table cells. Pictures remain images. Fonts and the appearance of uncommon characters depend on what is installed on your device.
How do I add images?
Attach a local JPG or PNG, then use its exact filename, such as . Remote images and image URLs are not loaded. Up to 12 pictures are supported; large pictures are reduced to fit browser memory.
How do I add a page break?
Put <!-- pagebreak --> on a line of its own between sections. Check the print dialog because its paper size and margin settings can change final pagination.
Does it support HTML, diagrams and math?
Raw HTML is shown as text, except the page-break marker. Mermaid, mathematical typesetting and custom HTML styles are not rendered. Attach an image of a diagram when needed.
Can I use Markdown to PDF on my phone?
You can edit and preview in a mobile browser. Saving depends on its print or share-to-PDF options. If the print button opens no dialog, use your browser’s print menu or continue on a desktop browser.
Are my notes or pictures uploaded?
No. Parsing, image preparation and printing happen in your browser. External links open only when you choose to follow them.
