Create an EPUB for text-focused reading
A PDF fixes words on pages; a reflowable EPUB lets an ebook reader fit text to its screen. This tool creates an EPUB 3 book with one chapter per selected source page and a table of contents. Suggested headings, paragraphs and simple lists provide a starting structure.
Set a title and language code, choose pages and check reading order. The preview shows the words that will be included. Each chapter names its source PDF page for comparison. Fonts and the number of reading screens depend on your ebook app.
This EPUB contains text rather than page screenshots. Images, complex tables, equations, links and typography are not rebuilt. It suits simple articles and notes; picture books, magazines and formula-heavy pages need a different workflow. Keep the original PDF for its complete visual content.
For scans, use OCR PDF first and check recognition errors. Use EPUB to PDF later for a new print copy. That process lays out the chapters again and cannot recover the source PDF’s positions or fonts.

Can I change the ebook font size?
Yes, in an app that supports reflowable EPUB text. Paragraphs adapt to its screen and font size instead of being fixed page pictures.
Will the PDF’s pictures and design stay the same?
No. This is a text ebook. Pictures, tables, equations, fonts and exact page design are not rebuilt. Keep the original PDF when those features matter.
How are chapters created?
Each selected PDF page becomes a chapter. Its first suggested heading, or source page number, labels the contents entry. This is not automatic recognition of the author’s original chapter structure.
What if my PDF has two columns?
Choose Two columns for a page divided at its centre, then check that the left column comes before the right. Mixed layouts, text boxes and tables can still need editing. Select pages with the same layout for each run.
Can I convert scanned pages?
Use OCR PDF first, then continue here with its searchable copy. Pages without selectable text are marked in a mixed-document export. A completely scanned selection needs OCR before a download can be created. Check recognized names and numbers.
Will it work in my ebook reader?
The download is an EPUB 3 file. Import support varies between reading apps and devices, so try a sample in your intended reader first. This tool does not send books to devices or promise compatibility with every reader.
Can I convert the EPUB back to PDF?
Yes. Send the result to EPUB to PDF, review the chapters and save through the print dialog. It produces a new layout with selectable text, not a copy of the original PDF design.

No. Reading, conversion and previews run in your browser. Document contents are not sent to a conversion service. No account is required.
