Does PDF to PPT produce editable slides?
The download is PPTX, rather than the older PPT format. Editable page layout creates independent supported objects. Page images creates a single page picture per slide. Complex curves, transparency and clipping may require the image option or the original presentation.
Does this recover the original presentation?
No. A PDF does not retain PowerPoint slide masters, animations or the original chart data. The converter recreates supported visible page objects; review them before use.
Can I convert a scan to editable slides?
Use OCR PDF to recognize its words first, then review the converted slide. An image of a table or chart does not become editable source data automatically.
Why did a font or slide size change?
PowerPoint uses fonts available in your editor, and presentations use one slide size. Pages with different dimensions may need fitting. Compare the converted slides with your PDF.
