Using AdaPDF

AdaPDF provides free tools to convert, create, and organize documents in your browser. No account or subscription is required. These terms apply when you use the website. If you do not agree, please do not use the tools.

Your documents and permissions

You retain your rights to your documents. AdaPDF does not claim ownership of your input files or generated files. Only process files you own or have permission to use, and respect other people’s copyright, privacy, and confidentiality. Converting a document does not grant you new rights to its contents.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully. Do not attempt to compromise the website, distribute malicious software through it, disrupt access for others, or bypass its security protections.

Conversion results and original files

Conversion can change formatting, fonts, layout, and document features. Some outputs contain page images or approximate extracted text rather than the original editable structure. Read the limits shown on each tool page, keep a copy of your original files, and check the output before sharing it or relying on it.

PDF editing may not preserve forms, bookmarks, metadata, or digital signatures. Cropping changes the visible page area and is not secure redaction: content outside that area may remain recoverable. AdaPDF does not certify the accuracy, authenticity, or suitability of a converted document for a particular purpose.

Local processing and privacy

Selected documents are processed locally in your browser, not uploaded to a conversion server. We cannot retrieve your local files or restore downloads you have lost. Website requests and messages you send to support are separate from document processing. See our Privacy policy for details.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the tools useful and available, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, support for every file, or error-free results. Browser capabilities, device resources, and file complexity can affect processing. Features and technical limits may change as we maintain the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights or remedies available under applicable law.

Website and third-party software

Rights in the AdaPDF name, website design, and website content remain with their respective owners. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses. These terms do not restrict rights granted by those licenses.

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest version. Updates apply to future use and do not remove rights arising from earlier use.
