How do I scan a document to PDF on iPhone or Android without an app?
Open this page in a current mobile browser, allow camera access, capture each page, and create the PDF. If live camera access is unavailable, use your device camera or choose saved photos.
Why is my phone camera blocked or unavailable?
Allow camera permission for the site, close another app that may be using the camera, and try again in Safari or Chrome. You can still create a PDF from images already on your phone.
Can I scan multiple pages into one PDF?
Yes. Capture or import up to 20 pages, put them in order, and create one PDF. Keep the tab open until your download is ready.
How can I make a receipt scan easier to read?
Use even light, keep all corners visible, correct the page edges, and adjust contrast carefully. Check that small numbers and pale text are readable before you create the PDF.
Will the scanned PDF have searchable text?
No. It is a picture-based PDF. Download it, then open OCR PDF to recognize printed words and make a searchable copy. Check names, dates, and amounts after recognition.
Are my camera pictures uploaded or saved online?
No. The pictures you choose stay in this browser tab and are not uploaded as files. Close the camera when you finish, then use Start over or close the tab to clear the working pages.
Can I correct a tilted photo, and which images work?
Use Correct corners for a photographed page, Straighten for a small tilt, and crop away the background. Import JPG, PNG, or WebP images; save HEIC photos as JPG first if needed.
