We built AdaPDF around a simple idea: working with your documents shouldn’t mean handing them over.

Your documents

AdaPDF processes selected files in your browser using locally executed software. Document contents and filenames are not uploaded to AdaPDF or a conversion service. We do not store your files on a server. Generated files are downloaded directly from your browser.

What still uses the internet

Your browser downloads the website, fonts, and conversion software from our domain. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, receives the normal information needed to serve those requests, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time. Infrastructure security and operational records are governed by Cloudflare’s policies. This does not include the contents of the files you select.

No accounts or tracking

AdaPDF does not require registration, use analytics or advertising trackers, or set application tracking cookies. We do not sell document data. There is no upload endpoint or cloud document storage in this version.

After you finish

Use “Start over” to remove selected files and generated download links from this page, or close the tab. Your original files and files you downloaded remain on your device. Your browser may cache website resources; AdaPDF does not intentionally persist your document contents in browser storage.

Shared devices

Remember to manage downloaded files and browser download history when using a shared computer. Browser extensions and device software operate outside AdaPDF’s control.
