Images use their visible orientation and a white page at 96 pixels per inch. PDF text, links to retained pages and basic form fields remain usable. Fields get unique names; links to removed pages and named destinations are removed. Certificate signatures, dynamic forms, calculated fields and automatic form actions are not supported. Document attachments are not copied.
Combine PDFs and pictures into one document
Merge PDF files with this PDF merger to bring a report and its appendices together, group receipts, or assemble an application packet. Preview individual pages, drag them between files, remove unwanted pages, and rotate or crop selected pages before merging. Use the arrow buttons for keyboard-friendly ordering and undo recent changes.
Text and vector page artwork stay intact. Original page sizes and rotations are retained unless you change them. Supported local bookmarks are grouped under source-file chapters and remapped to the new page order; bookmarks pointing only to deleted pages are omitted. Basic title, author, subject, keywords and creator metadata come from the first retained source file.

Arrange the files in that order before merging. The example is a planning aid: inspect your own output page count and order after downloading. Use Split PDF first if you need only part of an attachment, or Organize PDF to rearrange individual pages.
Prepare non-PDF attachments first: Scan to PDF handles paper pages, HTML to PDF saves a self-contained HTML notice, and PPT to PDF creates a static copy of presentation slides. Review each converted file before adding it to the packet.
Merging is not a file-size reduction step. If the packet exceeds an upload limit, use Compress PDF and follow the size reduction guide. Add final numbering with Add PDF Page Numbers; check form values and links before sending the packet.
How to use Merge PDF
- Choose PDFs and supported pictures from your device, up to the limits shown in the workspace.
- Review thumbnails in Pages or Files view. Reorder, remove, rotate or crop pages, and unlock password-protected files when prompted.
- Select Merge PDFs, download and review the combined document, or send it directly to Compress PDF or Organize PDF within their limits.

How do I combine PDF files for free without signing up?
Add your PDFs here, set their order, and select Merge PDFs. You can download the combined document directly without creating an account, entering an email address, or paying a subscription.
Can I merge PDF files without uploading them?
Yes. Your PDF stays in this browser tab while you work and is not uploaded. Download the finished copy before closing the tab.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
Choose up to 30 PDFs, with a combined size of up to 150 MB and 1,000 retained pages. These are safety limits, not a guarantee every device can process large scans. A desktop is recommended for large documents; use smaller batches if your device runs out of memory.
Can I combine PDFs with different page sizes?
Yes. Original page sizes and rotations are retained. Merging an A4 document and a landscape document does not force both into the same paper size.
How do I merge JPG images into one PDF?
Add supported pictures here alongside PDFs and arrange their pages together. Use JPG to PDF when all your input files are pictures and you want its paper-size and margin choices.
Will bookmarks, metadata, forms, or signatures be preserved?
Supported bookmarks and local links are remapped to retained pages. Basic metadata comes from the first retained PDF. Supported form fields are carried into the new document, but complex forms and certificate signatures may prevent processing. Review any warning, test important fields and keep the originals. Cropping or drawing over a page is not secure redaction.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Yes, enter the password when prompted. The file is decrypted locally without converting its pages into images. Passwords and document bytes are not saved to browser storage. The merged download is unencrypted. A wrong password, unsupported encryption or a damaged file may prevent unlocking.
