Choose how your JSON should appear on paper
Formatted JSON shows every key and value with indentation and wrapped lines. Objects, arrays and other valid JSON values are accepted. Large integer digits, exponent notation, duplicate keys and string escapes are printed as written rather than silently normalized.
Document pages is for adapdf.document.v1 files created by PDF to JSON. It prints headings, paragraphs and lists, with each source page starting a section. It does not restore coordinates, pictures or fonts, and is not a custom invoice or résumé template engine.
Paste JSON or open a UTF-8 file up to 2 MB. Remove comments and trailing commas before converting. Strings are printed as text, so embedded HTML or scripts do not run. URLs inside data do not fetch remote resources.
Choose paper settings and review the preview, then use Print / Save as PDF. Keep your JSON source for structured data. PDF to JSON can extract the saved PDF’s words into a new page record, but cannot reconstruct an arbitrary original JSON tree.

Frequently asked questions
Do I download a PDF directly?
Use Print / Save as PDF to open the browser’s print dialog, choose its PDF destination and save. Text remains selectable. Final pagination, headers and margins depend on that dialog. Phone print and share options vary; the site cannot confirm whether you saved or cancelled.
Will large numbers or duplicate keys change?
Formatted JSON keeps numbers, repeated keys and string escapes exactly as written, including very large integers. It adds indentation to make the data easier to read. Document pages uses only the supported AdaPDF text structure.
Can I use any JSON as a document template?
Formatted JSON can show any valid JSON data. Document pages accepts PDF to JSON output; it is not a general invoice or report template engine. Other files remain readable key/value data.
Why does validation fail?
Check quotes, commas and balanced brackets. Comments, trailing commas and incomplete values are not JSON. Save files as UTF-8. The input limit is 2 MB and 40 nested levels. Very dense files that expand into an oversized print copy need splitting first.
Will HTML in a JSON string run?
No. Values are escaped and printed as text. Scripts and remote resources inside strings are not executed or loaded.
What happens to PDF to JSON output?
Document pages prints text blocks in order with source-page references. Long sections may span several new PDF pages. Coordinates and other metadata are not part of that text layout; choose Formatted JSON to print the full record.
Can I recover the source JSON from the PDF?
The PDF is a print copy without an attached JSON source. PDF to JSON produces a new page-based text record, not the original arbitrary data tree. Keep the source .json file.
Are my documents uploaded?
No. Reading, conversion and previews run in your browser. Document contents are not sent to a conversion service. No account is required.
